Sowers PTSA considers student safety a priority and allocates funds every year to provide an emergency kit for every Sowers student. These special kits will be safely stored for the entire three years your child attends Sowers. These items are kept on campus in the event of a natural disaster or other emergency. The items we purchase are not provided by our school district. Sowers PTSA is requesting a one-time $10 donation from each incoming 6th grade student to help offset the cost of emergency kits,
Each pre-packaged emergency kit contains:
• 2,400 calorie emergency ration food bar
• 6 water pouches ( each 4.2oz)
• Emergency thermal blanket
• 12-hour light stick
• 9 moist towelettes
