Frequently Asked Questions
Join us in our efforts to advocate for our children! Whether you can contribute a few hours a month or help with specific events, your involvement makes a difference. Sign up to volunteer today and become a part of the positive impact we’re making at Sowers.
The Sowers PTSA is committed to providing comprehensive support to both students and teachers. For students, we offer programs like Binder Reminders, Reflections Art Program, and resources for 8th Grade Promotion, ensuring that each grade level has the tools and experiences needed for success. For teachers, we provide grants, classroom reimbursements, and organize Staff Appreciation Week, all aimed at enhancing the educational experience and showing our appreciation for their hard work.
Your support makes these initiatives possible! Join the Sowers PTSA for just $10, and help us continue providing these valuable resources to our students and teachers. No volunteering is required—your membership alone makes a big difference.
Stay in the loop! Attend our PTSA meetings (the schedule can be found on our calendar), and follow us on Instagram to stay up-to-date with everything happening at Sowers. Your involvement, whether big or small, makes a difference in our school community.
No, joining the Sowers PTSA does not require you to volunteer or attend meetings. While your membership supports the PTSA’s mission and helps provide resources for our students and teachers, your level of involvement is entirely up to you. Membership alone is a valuable contribution that enhances our ability to advocate for all children and fund various programs and events. However, we always welcome and appreciate any time or effort you can contribute to make our school community even stronger!
Join today and become a part of a community that cares about our students’ success—no volunteering required. Your membership makes a difference!
If you’re interested in taking a leadership role within the Sowers PTSA, we encourage you to express your interest in serving on the Executive Board. The process is simple: fill out the Executive Board Interest Form with your contact information and select the positions you are interested in. Positions include President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and other vital roles that help steer the direction of our PTSA. Your interest will be reviewed by the Nominating Committee, who will reach out to you with next steps.
Ready to take on a leadership role? Fill out the Executive Board Interest Form today, and help shape the future of our school community. For any questions, don’t hesitate to contact the Nominating Committee at [email protected].
Joining the PTSA not only supports local initiatives but also strengthens our school’s voice at the district and state levels. A larger membership means greater representation in state PTA meetings, more funding opportunities, and a stronger advocacy platform. This collective power helps us push for policies and resources that benefit all students at Sowers and beyond.
Help us amplify our impact! Join the Sowers PTSA today, and be a part of a powerful community advocating for better education and resources for our children. Remember, membership doesn’t require volunteering—just your support.
