The Honorary Service Award Selection Committee requests that members of the Isaac L Sowers Middle School PTSA assist in the selection of deserving recipients for recognition at PTSA event or at a PTSA meeting. Nominated individuals or organization who have made significant contributions to the well being of children, youth or families in this school and/or community can be considered for this award. Current members, officers and teachers may also be considered for this award.
The following awards are offered:
Very Special Person Award (VSP): recognizes an individual or organization for their service to PTA
Honorary Service Award (HSA): recognizes an individual or organization for outstanding service to children and youth in your community, going above and beyond what is asked of them
Continuing Service Award (CSA): recognizes an individual or organization for long-time service to children and youth, providing support year after year
Golden Oak Service Award (GOSA): the most prestigious of the awards, this recognizes an individual or organization who has made significant contributions to the welfare of children and youth in a school or community.
